A: Education First welcomes students aged 11–17 years from partnered schools to be part of its global learning journeys. Students must be in good health and capable of managing the physical and academic demands of international travel. For safety and supervision, only authorized school staff and Education First mentors accompany the group—external adults are not permitted.

Q: How Are Teachers Selected for the Journey?
A: Teachers play a critical role as guardians and mentors throughout the journey. Education First recommends selecting educators who are experienced, responsible, and adept at managing student well-being, discipline, and group dynamics. Strong communication skills, physical fitness, and prior international exposure are valuable qualities for ensuring a smooth and enriching experience.

Q: What Is the Ideal Teacher–Student Ratio?
A: To maintain high standards of safety and personalized attention, Education First follows an industry benchmark of 1:10 (adult to students). Many institutions opt for a more focused ratio of 1:7 to further enhance supervision and engagement.

Q: Is Visa Approval Guaranteed?
A: Visa approvals are governed solely by the respective Embassy or Consulate of the destination country. While Education First provides complete guidance, documentation support, and interview facilitation, the final decision rests with the visa authorities. Every effort is made to ensure a smooth and well-prepared application process.

Q: How Does Education First Ensure Student Safety?
A: Student safety is at the core of every Education First journey. With globally aligned processes and rigorous safety protocols, each program is designed to ensure secure travel, reliable accommodations, and continuous supervision. Dedicated Journey Mentors and trained staff provide round-the-clock support, creating a safe and structured environment for students.

Q: How Can Parents Stay Connected During the Journey?
A: Education First ensures complete transparency and communication. Parents receive daily updates, photographs, and highlights from the journey. In addition, hotel contact details are shared for direct communication when required. Schools may also allow students to carry mobile phones with international connectivity for added convenience.

Q: Can Students Extend Their Stay After the Program?
A: For safety and logistical consistency, Education First follows a strict group travel policy—students must depart and return with the group. Individual extensions or independent stays are not permitted.

Q: Will Our School Group Be Combined with Another Group?
A: Education First designs journeys based on a minimum group size of 30 participants. Schools meeting this requirement travel independently. In cases where the minimum number is not met, groups may be combined with other schools to ensure cost efficiency and program viability. If necessary, journeys may be rescheduled or adjusted to maintain quality standards.

Q: What Type of Food Is Provided During the Journey?
A: Students are provided with hygienic, nutritious, and well-balanced meals throughout the journey. A mix of local cuisine is included to enrich cultural exposure, while efforts are made to provide at least one familiar Indian meal daily—typically dinner—for comfort and preference.

A: Education First provides a comprehensive packing guide tailored to the destination, climate, and itinerary. This ensures students are fully prepared with appropriate clothing and essentials for a comfortable travel experience.

Q: Does Education First Assist with Foreign Currency and SIM Cards?
A: While Education First does not directly facilitate foreign exchange or SIM card purchases, parents are guided to obtain these through authorized providers, ensuring compliance and convenience before departure.
