Teachers leading students on Education First journeys play a central role in ensuring safety, guiding discipline, and inspiring meaningful engagement. Working closely with our Journey Mentors and local experts, they help create immersive experiences where learning goes beyond the classroom.
To support teachers in navigating student safety and responsibilities during travel across India and globally, we have curated a set of FAQs designed to provide clarity, confidence, and guidance throughout the journey.

Q- Can we include an extra attraction, visit, or shopping time during the journey?
Ans- No. The itinerary is thoughtfully planned well in advance, with strict attention to timing and safety. Even small changes can affect the schedule, cost, and overall security of the group. We are both ethically and contractually committed to delivering the agreed plan to schools and parents. Therefore, once finalized—and especially after the journey begins—the day-by-day itinerary cannot be modified, except in situations related to safety or risk management.
Q – I want to visit my relatives at the destination. Is that allowed?
Ans – No. Students must remain under the supervision of their assigned chaperone at all times to ensure their safety and well-being. While the Journey Mentor supports the learning experience, the responsibility of care lies with the accompanying school teachers. Leaving the group is not permitted.
Q – Can my relatives visit me at the hotel during the trip?
Ans – No. We strongly discourage this, as it compromises the established safety protocols designed to protect all students. Allowing such visits may also encourage others to request the same, increasing potential risks and making it harder to maintain control and security.
Q – Can I explore the city alone at night at my own expense?
Ans – No. Teachers are required to stay with the student group at all times. Additionally, it is unsafe for teachers to go out alone, as their well-being directly affects the supervision and safety of the entire group.
Q – Am I allowed to smoke or drink during the trip?
Ans – No. Even if age and local laws permit such activities, they are not allowed during the journey. These actions can negatively influence students and impair a teacher’s ability to make sound decisions. Since teachers are responsible for the group’s safety, the use of any mind-altering substances is strictly prohibited.
